Tim Ulinski Tim Ulinski has recently become a Professor of Pediatrics at the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6 and is co-chair of the department of Pediatric Nephrology in Armand Trousseau University Hospital in Paris. After his M.D. in Frankfurt he trained in Heidelberg, Paris, and Lyon. His experimental research interest was focused on IGF resistance in uremia, in particular cell models of disturbances of the IGF-IGFBP axis. His clinical reseach was mainly based on treatment strategies of idiopathic nephrotic syndrome, phenotype-genotype studies of HNF1-beta related anomalies and cardiovascular involvement in chronic renal failure. He is currently a council member of the European Society of Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN). Dr Ulinski has published more than 70 articles and book chapters and has recently been invited to join the editorial board of Pediatric Nephrology. |
