Belkacem Issad Belkacem Issad is a nephrologist in the Service of Nephrology at the University Hospital of “La Pitié-Salpétrière” in Paris and more specifically he is charge of the peritoneal dialysis program. He dedicates an important part of his activities to the various therapeutic strategies in Automated Peritoneal Dialysis and he also looks after private nurses’ training and medical responsible at the PD training center of AURA, the Association for the Artificial Kidney in Paris. He is a member of several committees namely: the Dialysis Committee at the French Society of Nephrology (SFN) the Scientific Committee of the Uro-Néphrologie Seminars (SUN) of La Pitié Salpétrière and the Good Practices Committee of the French Registry of Peritoneal Dialysis (RDPLF).
